Speaking to French news outlet 20 Minutes (via Culture Crave), James Cameron revealed that the third film will feature the Na'vi's evil faction, the Ash People. "I want to reveal the Na'vi from a different perspective, because [so far] I've only shown their good side. In the early films, there are very negative human examples and very positive naval examples. In Avatar 3, we're going to do it the other way around." It was followed by Avatar 4 (2029)
